When it comes to holiday shopping of any kind, we are looking for deals and whether or not stores like Petco are open on the actual day of a holiday. And this Fourth of July, we wanted to know whether or not one of our favorite pet stores would in fact be open.

Considering the Fourth of July can be a very difficult day for a lot of pets, it is important to know whether or not places like Petco will be open if we need things for our dogs and cats. From thunder vests to calming supplements, the fireworks that are so prevalent on July 4 are something we need to deal with as pet parents.

And that might mean making a last minute trip to the pet store to snag things to make the evening more comfortable for our furry friends.

Will Petco be open on the Fourth of July 2023?

Thanks to a press email we received on behalf of Petco, we know that they will be open on the Fourth of July. And not only will Petco stores be open, but according to the email, “Most Petco pet care centers will close by 8pm, though some locations may close at 7pm.”

It is good to know that they will be open on the holiday and in most cases, are open pretty late that day. It means that we can still snag calming supplements, dog treats, cat treats, and whatever else we may need to keep our pets distracted from the loud noises happening outside.

In a lot of cases, you may already have everything you need for your pup to get them through the Fourth of July, but it is always nice to know that our go to pet store has us covered anyway. And of course, you may just want to head on over to pick up other supplies. Either way, it feels like it is a normal Tuesday at Petco and we are not mad at that news.

We also recommend checking out some of their in store and online deals if you want to save some money while spoiling your furry friends.
