There is something so inherently cute about Hello Kitty. That’s why it’s so awesome to see the Hello Kitty Cafe Trucks.

For those who don’t know, there are actual locations of Hello Kitty Cafes. With locations in California and Nevada, these aren’t the most accessible for those who don’t live on the West Coast.

That’s why it’s so awesome to see and talk about the Hello Kitty Cafe Trucks. While it isn’t the same experience as being in the actual Hello Kitty Cafe, it gives us Sarnio fans a taste of Hello Kitty without having to travel somewhere that is a little further away.

If you love Sanrio or just want to do something fun this summer, you could consider traveling to the closest Hello Kitty Cafe truck near you and getting a dose of cuteness.

Sanrio’s website

gives all of the details of how the cafe trucks started and how they ended up becoming such a popular fixture: “Hello Kitty Cafe first began its journey with the Hello Kitty Truck in 2014. This success led to the first-of-its-kind Hello Kitty Cafe Pop-Up Container in 2016 and the Hello Kitty Mini Cafe set within malls or lifestyle centers…” While the idea was simple, it ended up becoming a much bigger deal.

In particular, I feel like these are a great idea for Hello Kitty fans of any age as there are so many things to choose from. On the website, there is a menu for the truck which also shows you the prices before you head out. Additionally, you can also find the cafe truck’s upcoming stops to help you plan ahead.

Some of the menu items include a set of macarons, a Hello Kitty giant cookie, and even, a set of mini cakes. All of these range in price from $14 to $18 dollars but that’s not all. The trucks also have merchandise including cups, plushes, and totes. If you’re a Sanrio fan and want to indulge in some cuteness, I don’t think you can go wrong in planning a visit.

While you can see the dates on the website, there are a handful of stops in Illinois in June but nothing else has been added yet. Personally, I feel like it’s best to follow the truck on Instagram as there are a lot of amazing photos and a look into where the truck will be next which will be helpful for planning ahead.

Even if you just happen to stumble upon one, I’d suggest going to a Hello Kitty Cafe Truck. I’m a huge Hello Kitty fan so I know I’d be all over it if one was near me. It’s just such a fun idea and the aesthetic is so adorable so it can’t hurt to try and see if a cafe truck is visiting nearby.
