Have you ever thought about traveling to Disney World with your dog? Are you wondering if there are any hotels or properties at the park where your dog is welcome? We were also curious about this, and decided to do some digging.

Luckily, we found some good news. And while one property we did actually know about, the rest were nice surprises.

So what exactly did we find out about bringing your dog to Disney World? Are there places where your dog is welcome? While your dog may not be able to actually go into Disney World and the four theme parks, unless they are a service animal, that doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy some quality time with you on your trip.

Are dogs allowed at any of the hotels in Disney World?

According to WDW Magazine, there are actually four hotels that are dog friendly. And the property that we knew about was actually the campground at Disney World, Disney’s Fort Wilderness, which offers camp sites that are dog friendly.

But what are the four hotels that actually allow dogs?

That’s right, there are four hotels, each following under a different price point that allow you to bring your dog. The best part about this is that they offer a value resort hotel, a deluxe resort hotel, and two moderate resort hotels to choose from. This means that you don’t have to worry about your budget as much, when it comes to staying with your dog. Obviously Disney World can be very pricey, so if you can save a little bit of money and still bring your dog with you that is definitely a win.

Each of these dog friendly hotels has a dog walk area for your pup. And while dogs are not allowed in the park or in the restaurants, there is a dog friendly patio at Muddy Rivers Pool Bar at Port Orleans Resort – Riverside where you and your pup can enjoy a meal together.

It’s nice to know that if we wanted to travel to Disney World with our dog, we actually can do that. While they may not be allowed to partake in the sights and sounds and experience of the park itself, that’s okay. We would not want to stress our dog out with all of the people, but at least we get to spend time with them at the hotel room and they get a relaxing vacation as well.

What do you think of the idea of traveling to Disney with your dog? Did you know that there were four dog friendly hotels? Is this something that you would take advantage of? Let us know in the comments below.
