Welcomes to the 12 Days of Dogmas! For this celebration of all things holidays and dogs, we are looking at Christmas songs that our pups actually enjoy. And while there is a Christmas song for dogs, in this case we are looking at songs that we all know and love.

Thanks to Country Living, we know that there are actually 10 Christmas songs that dogs genuinely like and are more than happy to listen to with us during the holiday season. But, while there may be 10 songs, we are focusing on three of our personal favorites and the ones that we know that our staff pup enjoys.

One thing to note is that our dogs love upbeat Christmas songs, and in many cases so do we. So which three songs are our dogs going to enjoy this season?

3 Christmas songs dogs love during the 12 Days of Dogmas

  • “A Wonderful Christmas Time” by Paul McCartney – Honestly, dogs loving this song makes perfect sense to us because not only is it a classic, but it is a catchy classic. This is the kind of song you can’t help singing along to and we love that this is one that our dogs enjoy too. Basically, this just means that our dogs have great taste in music.
  • “All I Want for Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey – This song is pretty much the anthem of the holidays. As soon as Halloween night ends, this is the song of the season. And it just makes sense that our dogs would love it, since it is truly everywhere during this time of the year.
  • “Jingle Bells” – Can you ever go wrong with a true classic? We think not! And if our dogs can get down to this one, then we are here for it. We love the fact that this is one of the songs that can actually help to keep a dog feeling comfortable during the stressful time that is the holidays.

What do you think? Are you surprised that these are three of the songs that made the list for songs that our dogs actually like to listen to for Christmas? We want to know.
