Loungefly Snoopy and Charlie Brown holiday bags coming soon

I WANT A DOG FOR CHRISTMAS, CHARLIE BROWN! - This holiday season, ABC once again airs the PEANUTS Christmas special "I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown," produced and animated by the same team that gave us the other, now classic cartoon specials based on Charles M. Schulz's famed comic strip. "I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown" airs SUNDAY, DEC. 22 (7:00-8:00 p.m. EST), on ABC. "I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown" centers on ReRun, the lovable but ever-skeptical younger brother of Linus and Lucy. It's Christmas vacation and, as usual, ReRun's big sister is stressing him out, so he decides to turn to his best friend, Snoopy, for amusement and holiday cheer. However, his faithful but unpredictable beagle companion has plans of his own, giving ReRun reason to ask Snoopy to invite his canine brother Spike for a visit. Loungefly is well known for its unique bags, wallets, and apparel inspired by just about every franchise. But the fun brand also has a few bags and wallets coming soon that are inspired by two of the oldest cartoon characters: Snoopy and Charlie Brown.

A Christmas without the Peanuts Gang wouldn’t be Christmas at all and with these new Loungefly items, you can make Christmas even more special. There are two different collections: Charlie Brown Ice Skating and Snoopy Woodstock.

The Charlie Brown Ice Skating collection includes a mini backpack and a wallet. To say these are cute is an understatement. They both show Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Sally skating on the ice and Snoopy and Woodstock sliding down a snow-covered hill inside Snoopy’s dog dish.

On the mini backpack, you can also see Linus in the background rolling a snowball and Peppermint Pattie and Marcy following behind him. The bag and wallet are icy-blue in color and will immediately get you in the spirit of winter.

The mini backpack will be $80 and the wallet will be $40.

The Snoopy and Woodstock collection screams Christmas. It’s all red and green! The crossbody bag looks exactly like a fresh green wreath with red holly berries and a red bow. Snoopy is featured napping in the middle of it. But don’t forget Woodstock. He is featured as a charm on the bag. The bag also has a chain strap and will be $80 on the Loungefly website.

The wreath cardholder features the same wreath that’s on the bag with Snoopy resting in the middle, but in this one, Woodstock is sitting on top of the wreath in a red and green stocking cap. The card slots alternate between green and red and the wreath is connected to the dark green strap that secures the cards into place. It will be $20 on the Loungefly website.

While none of the bags are available quite yet, you can sign up to be notified via email when each bag goes on sale.
