Recently we talked about how Five Below offers a variety of pet supplies to help us spoil our furry friends. But what about actually shopping in store with them?

When it comes to running errands or enjoying a day of shopping, there is something special about being able to bring our dog along for the ride. And while we already know that there are a lot of stores that are not dog friendly, unless your dog is a service animal of course, there are actually a surprising number of stores that will in fact let you bring your pup with you.

So the question we have is whether or not Five Below is a dog friendly store or one that says no to the pup. After doing some digging we have an answer.

Can you shop at Five Below with your dog?

According to Pet Smitten, the general answer is actually a no. Dogs are not allowed at Five Below stores. Obviously that no does not apply to service dogs, but rather just your average pet.

That being said, there have been cases where shoppers were allowed to bring their dogs in the store with them.

The best way to figure out if your furry friend is allowed in the Five Below with you is to check their pet policy, which will likely be posted somewhere near the door of the store. And even if you don’t see it posted, we highly recommend asking the store manager for clarification about their pet policy and if your furry friend can join you on your shopping trip.

It might be sad to realize that your pup can’t join you to pick up dog toys, treats, and whatever else you may be snagging at the Five Below closest to you, but there are plenty of other stores where they are welcome.
