Here’s how Shake Shack is celebrating International Dog Day

Did you know that Shake Shack offers special treats for our pups? In particular, one of the pup-friendly treats is called a Pooch-ini.

While we have previously mentioned Shake Shack as one of the restaurants that offers a secret menu for our dogs, in honor of International Dog Day on August 26, they are leaning into the fact that they offer special dog-friendly treats. And that means offering a very special deal that treats both us and our pups.

According to the press email we received on behalf of Shake Shack,

"In celebration of International Dog Day, dog lovers across the US can head over to their local Shack (or order on the app) to score a FREE scoop of custard for themselves when they order a Pooch-ini for their pup. Guests can redeem this puppy promo from Friday 8/26-Sunday 8/28."

So not only is this not just a one-day only deal, but it is perfect for spoiling both us and our pups. But how do we score this deal?

Well if you are ordering on the app, you will need to use the code, DOGDAY2022 to get your free custard scoop. (You may also need this code in the restaurant, so we definitely recommend saving it just in case.)

Wondering what exactly the Pooch-ini is? Well we have you covered with that too. For $3.75, you pup can themselves some dog-friendly custard that has been mixed with “Shackburger biscuits and a swirl of peanut butter.” Basically, it is the perfect summer treat or any time treat for your happy pup.

We love that Shake Shack is taking part in International Dog Day with a deal. And we love it even more that they are offering the deal for the entire weekend, rather than just on the actual holiday.
