13. Something that dogs and humans have in common when a dog gets pet…

We get it. We all get happy when petting a dog, am I right? But what if I told you that dogs also feel something and get some pleasurable out of it too!

Have high blood pressure or are getting nervous about something big that’s coming up in your life? Tried and true scientific evidence shows that human blood pressure goes down when petting a dog (hence why Study Dogs come into college during big Final Exam weeks, now that I sit and think about it all). However, so does the dog’s BP. Dogs love love, what can we say, just like us!

Just how happy do you get when petting a dog? I sure do miss that feeling with mine!

14. Why can blind and deaf dogs still be good hunting companions?

Our final fun fact over here is actually pretty unique, cool, and sweet all rolled into one tiny little fact!

Dog’s noses (yep, we started and ended with our little wet meatball noses that dog’s possess) can sense heat/thermal radiation. Now this is why blind and deaf dogs shouldn’t be completely and totally ruled out as a hunting companion! Give all dogs a chance, man! Go, dogs, go!
