There are so many dog breeds in the world and each breed has their own personality. And one breed that definitely has a lot of personality is the Siberian Husky! But what does it say about you if you are a Husky owner?

First we have to take into account the personality of a Husky. While Huskies are definitely working dogs in their own way, often known for their sled pulling abilities, they are definitely not all about the business. In fact, these fuzzy fur babies are also very cuddle happy with a loyal and friendly personality.

But the mighty Husky is also known for being loud. All it takes is browsing social media to find Huskies serenading their owners and letting them know what is what.

So what does it mean for you to be owned by a Husky? What does this say about you? Luckily for us, we have the fine folks at The New Yorker to help us out with this.

What does owning a Husky say about you?

In the round up of what your dog’s breed says about you, they explained that being the owner of a Siberian Husky means that you are,

"athletic and outdoorsy. You like to go on long hikes and day trips in nature. And, wow, what a coincidence – all of my weekends are free in the foreseeable future to go on adventures with you."

And we love this because it is true. But we don’t think that is all it says about you.

Knowing the personality of this breed, we can’t help but think that anyone who owns one of these dogs is also down for cuddles and can handle a boisterous personality. You can handle whatever comes your way and even when people (or pups) get loud, you can handle it.

Being a Husky owner means being able to handle whatever life throws at you and then getting on with your day. Go for that hike because life happens.

But we want to know what you think of this assessment. Do you agree with us about what it means to be owned by this breed of dog? We want to know! And let us know what else you think applies to owners of Huskies.
