Alan Ritchson shares the sound of a happy dog (kind of)
Alan Ritchson’s face is everywhere right now thanks to his leading role as the titular character Reacher on the Amazon Prime series. And while we will never forget the time that Ritchson’s Hawk blew up with Krypto at his side, we can’t help but love the fact that he is the star of his own series now.
Even in this new series, dogs are still making an impact on the storyline. And while we loved the fact that Reacher went out of his way to take care of a dog in his first season, right down to rescuing the pup from an uncaring person, in real life Alan Ritchson is more than willing to share some dog love with his followers that has nothing to do with his TV roles.
On February 22, the actor took to Instagram to show us a “happy dowg” in a pool. That happy dog is his pup bear, who is also a very big boy! And while the video was a great opportunity to see Ritchson and his dog enjoying some downtime at the pool, it was also a bit of fun for all of us.

But the thing is that while he was trying to not only show us his happy dog, he was also giving us the sound of a happy dog. However, those sounds of happiness were a bit disrupted when Bear decided to stand up and pee in the pool instead. (Then again, maybe that was his happy moment.)
Honestly, we could not help cracking up over the fact that Bear decided to pee in the pool just as his proud papa was showing off his happy dog. And of course, Ritchson’s reaction was priceless too.
This honestly left us wanting even more Bear content in our lives. And hopefully Alan Ritchson delivers with more posts with his “happy dowg.”
