Cesar Millan is one of the most well-known dog trainers, and he brings his expertise to Halo Collar, a tech company focusing on dog safety through a combination collar/app device.

The company Halo Collar was founded by tech expert brothers Ken and Michael Ehrman after Michael’s daughter’s dog Ruby was run over by a car, and they quickly brought in Millan to offer his canine psychology advice.

The ensuing collaboration resulted in a premium pet tech accessory that replaces the ugliness of an electric fence, with an app that is available on both Google Play and the Apple Store.

The collar itself consists of a hard outer casing made of a Kevlar-like material (think iPhone case) keeping the techy bits of the GPS collar safe, and then you attach an adjustable nylon strap in your dog’s size to complete the collar.

“Dogs are meant to have the freedom to explore off-leash, but the challenge for their families is how to keep them safe.” Millan said in a press release about the product.

This will keep them within set boundaries that you assign in the Halo Collar app, and the app also includes other handy features like training videos.

Halo Collar’s most well-known users are the D’Amelio family of TikTok fame, as Dixie and Charli are well-known for their dancing skills. They use the product with all four of the family dogs: Belle, Cali, Codi and Rebel.

The Halo 2 model is normally priced at $999, but can be purchased on sale for $799 with the code BESTGIFT, and comes in Small, Medium and Large sizes, in your choice of ivory or graphite (black or white).
