Chrissy Teigen and John Legend stun in white, but Pearl steals the show

On August 9, Chrissy Teigen shared a series of pictures to her Instagram featuring her and John Legend looking fabulous in white. But it wasn’t the celebrity couple that had us enamored – it was their Basset Hound puppy, Pearl!

And yes, I know how that sounds, especially if you see the post in question (which you will). Part of the reason you may be surprised by Pearl being the scene stealer comes from the fact that the puppy only appears in one of the five pictures shared in the Instagram post.

Sure, I can admit that Chrissy Teigen looked stunning in her dress that was all about being white and flowy (it screamed ethereal vibes). And yes, John Legend looked dapper and chic in his white/off-white suit.

But there is just something about a puppy that is always going to be the ultimate winner in a photo like this. And the fact that it basically looks like Pearl is trying to creep her way out of the show makes it even better.

Ever since Chrissy Teigen introduced the world to the new addition to her family, we have been on puppy watch. We are always checking to see if Teigen has posted anything with Pearl. And we have been very lucky because this Basset Hound has been showing up often enough to keep us coming back for more.

So, when we saw the post from Teigen where she and Legend got all dolled up, we were curious, but weren’t too enamored until the puppy! The puppy sighting hooked us.

I am here for the food and the puppy. It’s a simple appreciation and one that Teigen delivers on repeatedly. But in this case, the looks were fabulous, but we were here for the Pearl of it all.
