Over on the Oval Pawffice Instagram account, things have been a bit quiet since the loss of Champ. But it looks like Major Biden is spending some time with a friend (technically a relative).

In the latest post from the social media account of the First Pets, which was shared on June 27, we learned that while Major Biden is still waiting for the arrival of the newest addition to the family – the future First Cat – it sounds like the First Dog has had a chance to spend some time with the First Grandpup, Charlie Biden.

Now, whether Charlie and Major spent time together this weekend or not, we couldn’t say, but in the post shared to the Oval Pawffice Instagram account, we learned that these two pups enjoy their time together when it happens.

Major Biden is waiting for his new kitty sister, while apparently enjoying his time with Charlie Biden

According to the caption of the Instagram post,

"I enjoy spending time with my cousin, Charlie Biden First Grandpupper. Even though we both look furry serious in this photo, we always have great fun when we are together, I pawssure you."

The post concludes with the fact that both dogs are excited to meet the new kitty of the family, which will apparently be happening soon. And we are still eagerly anticipating the arrival of a new First Cat (we love Winston, but new pets are always fun), as it should be interesting to see how Major Biden reacts to a new furry sibling.

We can only hope that just like his relationship with Charlie Biden, Major will get along well with his new feline family member. Plus, it will be good to know that Major isn’t alone in the White House.

Next. PETA has sent a letter to President Biden to convince him to ban chaining. dark
