While President Biden and the First Lady are in the U.K., it seems that the First Dogs are spending some quality time together in Delaware. But what exactly are Champ and Major Biden up to while their parents are away? Luckily for us, our presidential pups are keeping us informed with the help of their The Oval Pawffice social media accounts.

In a new post on Instagram, that included a picture of Champ napping and Major watching over his older brother, we learn all about how the First Dogs are spending their time away from the White House while their parents are in Europe. So what exactly are they up to?

According to the post,

"While dad @POTUS and mom @FLOTUS are in the UK for the G7 Summit, we are having a blast in Delaware. Today’s schedule includes squirrel chasing, napping and numerous nom nom expeditions to the kitchen. We left Poppet in charge of the White House grounds until we’re back. Woof!"

And if you aren’t sure who Poppet is, that is the rabbit that the First Dogs met on the grounds of the White House. The Oval Pawffice account introduced us to Poppet on June 7 and revealed that this rabbit is going to be the one watching the grounds whenever they are at Camp David or in Delaware.

One point that the First Dogs went out of their way to make was about the squirrel chasing. According to the pups, “Do not worry about the squirrels: we never catch any, we just chase them to try to talk to them, to form our own G7 Summit.”

Whether they are ever able to form a G7 Summit with the squirrels or not is up for debate, but it is nice to know they have a rabbit on the team in D.C.
