Exciting news out of the Oval Pawffice! Guess who is back in action? That’s right, Major Biden is back at the White House and not only that, but he is ready for a new furry sibling.

Not only did the Oval Pawffice share a video to their stories on Instagram (they also shared the video in its own post as well) where they shared an interview their parents did for NBC’s Today Show, in which the President and First Lady talk about Major Biden’s return, but there is even a post dedicated to specifically to Major. And while we really appreciate the interview and the excitement to have Major back and how he is about to get a new sibling, we are here for the post from the pup in question.

In a new post from Major Biden himself, our previously MIA First Dog shares the exciting news that he is officially back at the White House with his family. According to him,

"Guess who’s back at the White House? And I bring great news: while away at training, I was taken to visit a kitty shelter, I even got to play with the kitties, had a lovely time. I know now fur sure that we’ll have a new feline sibling soon, a girl kitty."

Major Biden has returned to the White House ready to meet his new feline friend

While Major may have been away from his family getting additional training following two different nipping incidents, this was also a good time for trainers to make sure that he was ready for a new feline to join the family. And it seems that a visit to a shelter filled with cats proved that he can handle the pressures of being a new big brother.

Of course, we will be sad to see Winston Biden being dethroned as COTUS, but at the same time we have known for a while that a cat was destined for the Biden White House. (It has definitely been mentioned in the past on social media.) We are also pretty happy to know that this new addition should not be a problem for Major, as we want to see him and Champ happy at home and not worried about unnecessary drama.

Obviously our biggest excitement is over the news that Major is back home with his parents and big brother, Champ. In fact, this is the news we have been waiting for eagerly.

Now that we know he is home, we can turn our attention to waiting for the new First Cat to be introduced.
