Kelly Clarkson got to meet the First Dogs at the White House

It was a visit to the White House to speak to First Lady Jill Biden that led to Kelly Clarkson doing what we all wish we could – meeting the First Dogs. And while there are some who might be more excited for the singer and talk show host getting to meet the President and First Lady, we are all about Major and Champ Biden.

In a video clip posted to the Kelly Clarkson Show’s YouTube channel, we get to see Kelly meeting the First Dogs on the lawn of the White House and it is just as cute as you might have hoped for.

These pups are all about their outdoor time and seem pretty unimpressed with the idea of meeting the singer (they aren’t exactly swayed by celebrity). However, once the First Lady calls them over, we do get to see Major enjoying a bit of petting from both his mom and Clarkson.

And sure the meet and greet with the pups is not even a fraction of the video, it was super cute and we love how excited people get to meet the First Dogs.

Of course, Clarkson even promises to bring her own pup the next time she visits with the First Dogs, which we think would be an epic play date.

Considering the week that the First Dogs have had, including the rollercoaster ride of having their Twitter account suspended and then unsuspended, we love seeing them enjoying some downtime on the lawn of the White House. We also love that Kelly Clarkson got the chance to meet the two presidential pups, and was clearly excited for the meeting.

I can’t wait to see more celebrities getting a chance to meet the First Dogs once the pandemic eases. And hopefully we will get to see some celebrity pup play dates in the future.
