Ever been enjoying a pint of ice cream, wishing your dogs could enjoy with you? Ben & Jerry’s knew that and they’ve come out with a new line for our dogs!

If you’re like basically any and all dog lovers out there, sometimes your dogs just won’t stop staring at you when you’ve got your favorite treats and foods in front of you. As dog lovers, we all feel so bad for the things that we can’t share with our dogs, such as ice cream; however, Ben & Jerry’s must’ve known that we were all worried about disappointing our pups, so they went and created an ice cream just for your dogs!

Back in 2020, the company first began to develop this product, so needless to say, B & J plan on taking great care of our pups to make sure their treat is just as, if not more, delicious than our human version of the frozen treat delight.

Dogs are a part of our family, so why not treat them as such with a bowl of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream for dessert tonight

Their newly-debuted product is called Doggie Desserts, and just recently hit their shelves – online of course.

This product, Doggie Desserts, will be made with most ingredients that their human ice cream is made out of, except for the use of a sunflower butter base instead of dairy to be easier on our pup’s stomachs (we don’t like when their tummies get upset, right).

Given the current state of the world, maybe people are feeling more generous and appreciative of life, or maybe people are feeling a tiny bit lonely and need a companion to bum around the house with them. Because of this fact, is why Ben & Jerry’s plans on having tons of extra customers, as opposed to any other time. People are adopting, fostering, and all else in between to support their local animal shelters and helping dogs whom are truly in need over here.

Wanna try something else besides their ice cream Doggie Desserts? They are also selling toys and other pup merchandise, which you can view on their website.

About their price for the frozen treats, here’s what NBC 5 Chicago had to say about it:

"They will sell individually as 4-ounce mini cups or in four-packs for a suggested price of $2.99 and $4.99."

In addition to the price of each product, here are the two flavors (for now) that are available for purchase:

1.) Pontch’s Mix – Frozen Dog Treat With Peanut Butter & Pretzel Swirls

Human alternative B & J’s flavor? Chubby Hubby!

2.) Rosie’s Batch – Frozen Dog Treat With Pumpkin & Mini Cookies

Human alternative B & J’s flavor? Pumpkin Cheesecake!

Just as a quick note here, both flavors are sold in individual serving sizes, as well as in four-packs! So whether you grab one or both flavors, you can spoil your pup and enjoy with them too.
