Goldie Hawn introduced her followers to the newest addition to her family

There is a new puppy in the Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell family. While the longtime couple already has four pups at home, they are adding a new puppy to the pack. And after seeing the adorableness on display, we are not surprised at all about this new pup being added to the family.

Over on Hawn’s Instagram page, she shared a picture of herself hugging the chubby puppy. In the caption for the post it simply says, “Look what Santa rescued for me. Introducing Roy Hawn Russell. #Goodboyroy.” The caption also included a Santa emoji and a heart as well.

According to People Magazine, the addition of Roy to the pack means that Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell now have five dogs. In the past, Hawn has shared pictures of the rest of the pack, including one picture featuring all four dogs together with a caption that made it clear how much love there is in her life.

We are excited to see more of Roy popping up on the actress’ Instagram account, especially if that means we are going to get more of the entire pup pack. While she may not post that often on social media, the rare glimpses we get of her pups are enough to have us coming back for more. And hopefully with a new puppy in the mix, we will get to see Roy as he gets bigger and plays with his furry siblings.

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are not the only celebrities to bring home a pup for Christmas, as it seems dog and puppy adoption has been up since the pandemic started. Just last week, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka introduced the world to the new addition to their family, a Golden Retriever puppy named Ella.

Hopefully Hawn will share more pictures of Roy now that she shared what Santa brought her for Christmas. And of course, we are excited to see any other celebrities who might have brought home a pup or two.
