Dog lovers and racing fans have a bunch of options when it comes to potential Christmas gifts.

Dog lovers and racing fans have a large overlap in their Venn diagrams.

Since Monster Jam monster trucks is extremely fan-friendly, it’s not that surprising that there is a significantly large canine-themed element involved.

Monster Jam has the Monster Mutt fleet, consisting of the Monster Mutt, Monster Mutt Dalmatian, Monster Mutt Rottweiler, and at other points there have also been a Monster Mutt Junkyard Dog and a Monster Mutt Poodle.

Monster Mutt merch is geared towards children as far as T-shirts and hats go, and there are also diecasts available in both 1:24 and 1:64 sizes.

The Monster Mutt Dalmatian and Monster Mutt Rottweiler also have a variety of flags and plushies in addition to diecasts, while also catering to adults with their clothing options. (Dalmatian merch is geared towards women.)

Since licensed characters appear fairly often in the Monster Jam lineup over the years, it isn’t really a surprise that there’s a Scooby-Doo truck, which has tons of cool merch.

There is also a video game called Monster Jam: Steel Titans, which is available across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Steam and Xbox One. It offers a career mode, open-world exploration, racing and obstacle courses, just like the real thing, and includes the three main Monster Mutt trucks in its lineup.

Since many dog lovers and racing fans follow NASCAR as well, there are plenty of cool caps, T-shirts, diecasts and et cetera available for many dog dads in the official NASCAR store, the ranks of which include Bubba Wallace, Erik Jones and Christopher Bell, among others. Most teams and drivers also have their own store links as well.

For fans of drivers climbing up the racing ladder, buying Brittney Zamora Racing merch helps out her charity Pit Road Pals, which we covered earlier in the year. This is pretty cool.

IndyCar also has at least a trio of dog dads in Graham Rahal, Mario Andretti and Simon Pagenaud, and Rahal is married to former NHRA drag racer Courtney Force, part of the legendary Force clan.

It could also be argued that the Nintendo character of Yoshi the dinosaur acts as a dog to Mario, Luigi and everyone else, and thus could be considered (though admittedly a stretch) in this list through the Mario Kart series.

The novel or the DVD of The Art of Racing in the Rain would be a really strong pick as well.
