While there are actually a lot of Advent calendars for dogs on the market, there is something about snagging a small one that covers the 12 days of Christmas (although this does contain 24 treats, so if you had snagged this on Dec. 1, it would have been perfect for the entire month) that really speaks to the heart. After wandering the aisles of Target, I stumbled across these calendars tucked into a shelf of holiday goodies for our dogs. And I was shocked to see that it was only $14.99, especially considering this comes from specialty bakery dedicated to our pups.

Target brings holiday magic with this Advent Calendar for our dogs

Inside this adorable calendar, you will find 24 treats for your pup. All of the treats are super cute and small nibbles for our pups, with the majority shaped like tiny, colorful dog bones. However, the final treat is designed to be a little bigger and represents Santa Claus of course.

As someone who loves the idea of the 12 Days of Christmas, the size of this calendar works well, even as it does cover the 24 days leading up to the holiday. There is nothing wrong with doubling up on the snacking for your pup, after all, it is the holidays.
