Burt’s Bees offers a variety of products for our pets to help keep them clean and fresh

Did you know that even your pups can enjoy the magic that is Burt’s Bees products? From itch-soothing spray to shampoos, there is something for every pup. And as a fan of the brand already, this was definitely the kind of news I needed, especially considering there is something for cats, puppies, and older dogs alike.

On a personal level, I love the ingredients that Burt’s Bees uses in their products and I have always found their stuff to work for me no matter what I am using, whether we are talking lip balm or salve for cracked skin. So when I learned that there were pet products in their line, I knew I had to do my research and see if they lived up to what I expect from their human products.

And based on what I have not only read, but also the results I have seen with our staff pup, I think that the Burt’s Bees line of pet products is absolutely a must have. I am particularly impressed with the itch-soothing spray that has honeysuckle in it. It actually seemed to work (which is important) and it smelled good, making it all a win-win.

Burt’s Bees dog shampoos are perfect for puppies and adult pups

While there aren’t any puppies in the mix right now, I was excited to see that they did have a tearless shampoo for puppies that used buttermilk as one of the ingredients. It means that in the future, if we do happen to bring home a puppy, I know exactly what to use to keep them clean.

However, the real winner of the day was the oatmeal shampoo for dogs. This dog shampoo is 99.7 percent natural and uses honey and a colloidal oat flour to make sure that not only are our dogs getting clean and fresh in their baths, but we are also giving them something that helps keep their skin and coat healthy.

It is important that any products we use on our pets is not only pleasant smelling (both for our noses and theirs), but also good for their skin and fur. And as a tried and true fan of all things Burt’s Bees it seems like having these products was meant to be.

The fact that there are other items in this line to keep our pets fresh and healthy is just an added bonus all around. And while I think the itch-soothing spray and oatmeal shampoo ended up being the real winners of the day, there are still other products to explore and hopefully they end up being just as good as these three items seem to be.
