Peanuts gang gets their own chocolate bar collection from Astor Chocolates
Peanuts comics land on chocolate bars from Astor Chocolates
Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang are making their way onto a collection of chocolate bars courtesy of Astor Chocolates! And we need the entire collection for ourselves.
While our dogs may not be able to enjoy the deliciousness that is chocolate, there is nothing that says we have to abstain from this sweet treat. And according to The Candy Industry, not only are we getting a Peanuts inspired collection of chocolate bars courtesy of Astor Chocolates, but we are also getting flavors that make us want more.
Although the main draw for us here at Dog O’Day is the fact that the wrappers feature some of our favorite Peanuts characters, the fact that we also get five different designs and chocolate bar flavors to choose from is also a win.
Astor Chocolates brings us a Peanuts collection
As part of their “Happiness is…” collection, Astor Chocolates brings us a series of chocolate bars that feature different moments from the Peanuts comic strips. And while Snoopy doesn’t appear on all five bars, he does make his way onto three of them.
The roasted almonds dark chocolate bar features Schroeder and Snoopy at his piano, the milk chocolate bar features Woodstock and Snoopy getting their giggles on, and the toffee pretzel sea salt milk chocolate bar features Snoopy and Linus taking a nap. The other two bars are a caramel filled milk chocolate with Lucy offering her five cent advice and a simple dark chocolate bar with a frustrated Charlie Brown.
Basically, this is classic Peanuts but as candy bar wrappers, and we are here for it! And the fact that there’s an innocence to each wrapper that only the comics seem to capture makes this a must snag for fans of these characters.
I’m actually pretty excited about these chocolate bars and hopefully I can snag them in store soon.
What do you think of the Peanuts gang starring on chocolate bar wrappers? Would you collect all of the wrappers (like we want to)? Tell us what you think in the comments.
