Japan honors Peanuts and Snoopy with Ketchup

Did you know that 2020 is the 70th anniversary of Peanuts and Snoopy? Even if you didn’t certain brands want to remind you. From Timex to Heinz, everyone wants to show some love to this iconic dog and his friends.

And what better way is there to celebrate Snoopy than with three ketchup bottles featuring the pup in action? According to HypeBeast, Peanuts Japan is honoring 70 years of these characters with the help of three bottles of Heinz Ketchup.

These commemorative bottles each feature a different look at Snoopy, with two of the bottles also giving his friend Woodstock a bit of love too.

Snoopy is the star of these ketchup bottles in Japan

On one of the bottles, we see Snoopy seemingly popping out of his bright red dog house with a tomato top on his head. And above him, we can see Woodstock hanging out in the last O of the word Tomato on the label.

A second bottle of the ketchup shows Snoopy wearing a tomato themed hat as he gets ready to eat a dish with his face appearing on the plate and Woodstock flying over to join him with spoon in hand. This bottle might be my favorite just because of how happy these two characters look together.

Finally the third bottle features the pup all alone as he gets ready for a nap. Although considering he seems to be spinning a tomato on his nose, maybe he isn’t actually going to sleep, even if he is under what looks like a little blanket.

I wish these bottles were popping up in stores near us, and if I do happen to come across Snoopy on bottles of Heinz ketchup, I may have to snag them immediately.

What do you think about this iconic character showing up on a bottle of ketchup? Would you collect all three bottles? Tell us what you think in the comments.
