Cutouts of adoptable dogs fill out empty seats at Subaru Park

Social distancing is benefiting adoptable dogs thanks to Subaru and fan cutouts.
Everywhere you go, there seem to be empty seats. Due to COVID-19, the world continues to practice social distancing, especially where you would usually be among a large crowd. But for adoptable dogs and fan cutouts of sports fans, this is great news.
According to Media Post, Subaru of America and the Philadelphia Union are showcasing adoptable dogs in the are in the best way!
On Aug. 21, the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer announced that empty seats will be taken over by fan cutouts of local adoptable dogs. They hope this increases the chances of these adorable pups finding a home.

Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 25, and whenever the team plays at home in the 2020 season, you can expect to find these cutouts happily displayed for all to see.
The Philadelphia Union shared on their front page:
"“At Subaru, our love for pets runs as deeply as our love for soccer, and from the onset of our partnership with the Union, we knew we wanted to bring our furry friends out to Subaru Park and bring awareness to adopting shelter pets,” said Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Subaru of America, Inc."

This is the latest awesome dog news from Subaru, as they regularly feature puppers in their commercials and are a major sponsor of Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl every year.
So whether you’ve been wanting to adopt a young dog or older best pal, there are now no excuses! On the list, there are soccer dogs as young as six months to 10-years-old available for adoption and in need of finding their forever family. Could it be you?
So far in 2020, the Union made it to the semifinals of the MLS is Back Tournament, falling to the eventual champions in the Portland Timbers, and they are currently fifth in the Eastern Conference with nine points and a record of 2-1-3..
In 2019, the Union finished third in the Eastern Conference with 55 points and a 16-11-7 record before falling to Spike’s Atlanta United in the second round of the playoffs.
