Pillsbury is taking Scooby snacks to the next level

If you love the idea of people-friendly Scooby Snacks then you may need to check out the latest release from Pillsbury. While it may not be a real Scooby Snack, it is a sugar cookie adorned with Scooby-Doo on it, and that seems pretty close to the same thing.

According to Delish, the release of these new Scooby-Doo inspired cookies is in honor of the animated pup’s recent movie release, Scoob!, which began streaming in May 2020. While there have been a number of releases to honor the legendary pup and his mystery solving friends, we admit to being excited over these sugar cookies.

Scooby-Doo is the newest face on a Pillsbury cookie

Although we are used to seeing Christmas and Halloween themed sugar cookies, recently it seems more and more pop culture icons are showing up on these unbaked cookie dough rounds. So it absolutely makes sense to see Scooby-Doo getting his chance to shine on a sugar cookie dough round.

On top of being adorned with Scooby-Doo, which already made these a win to us, the package of cookies also states that it is safe to eat these raw. So if you are a fan of raw cookie dough and sugar cookies, then these are definitely a must snag.

According to the Junk Food in the Trunk Instagram page, you can already find these boxes of adorable cookies at Target. And we wouldn’t be surprised if these started popping up in other stores like Kroger, Stop and Shop, and more.

We love the fact that a smiling Scooby-Doo adorns all of these sugar cookies and hopefully this is a box that sticks around for a while.
