2. Latte and the Magic Waterstone

Short Sell: I think the cutest part of Latte and the Magic Waterstone is the story of creatures becoming friends and learning how to be a team. The fact that this story is told using adorable animated animals is kind of the icing on top.

I loved that this felt very much like it could have been part of the Secret Life of Pets family, even if these characters are more wild than those we meet in Secret Life. This story is as much a lesson, as it is something entertaining. And honestly, these characters are so cute that you are immediately hooked (or at least I was).

"When a greedy bear steals a magic stone to keep the forest’s water for himself, a brave hedgehog and a timid squirrel must work together to retrieve it."

1. Animal Crackers

Short Sell: Magic, a circus, and an attempt to save one’s home is the basis for this adorable movie. With animal crackers that can transform Owen into the shape that he eats, there is something extra special about this rundown circus.

There is music and magic in this movie and it brings the story to life in a way that pops. And as an added bonus, we have the joy of John Krasinski voicing Owen and Emily Blunt voicing Zoe to enjoy as well.

"Enchanted animal crackers turn Owen into whatever shape he eats! But to save the family circus, he’ll have to keep them out of his evil uncle’s hands."

If you are looking for cute, animated movies featuring adorable animals, then these five Netflix movies are a must watch (at least once). And even if it ends up being a rewatch, at least you know you have at least one cozy watch to enjoy curled up on the couch with some popcorn.
