Eoin Macken’s Instagram has become a tribute to a pup and a stuffed animal

With many people practicing social distancing, social media has become the place to connect. And for Eoin Macken, Instagram is now a place for a pup and a stuffed animal to take the spotlight.

Instagram is a lot of things. It’s a place where we share images and videos of what’s happening in our lives. In some cases, it’s an escape. And for Eoin Macken, his Instagram is basically a tribute to a pup named Steve and a stuffed animal named Bill.

While you may recognize Macken from his work on shows like Merlin and The Night Shift, he has also been a number of movies as well. And yet, at this moment, we are all about the furry creatures that have taken over his Instagram account.

Of course, Steve and Bill wouldn’t be the center of Eoin Macken’s Instagram if it weren’t for his posts, but it’s clear that these two characters are really adding some entertainment to the actor’s life.

In a post shared on March 23, Macken introduced the world to Steve, who’s real name is apparently Snickers. (We are sticking with Steve, as that’s what the actor has been calling him.) Steve is a rescue pup that Eoin Macken is fostering during the efforts to social distance.

The actor has made it clear that Steve is still up for adoption, and has even indicated that if a new home is found for the pup before isolation ends, he will make sure to personally deliver Steve to his new owner once he is free to do so.

While we love the fact that Macken is fostering Steve at this time, we are also loving all of the posts that the actor is sharing. Whether it is just Bill in the picture or Steve is the star, every single post that the actor has shared to Instagram recently is utterly adorable.

Not only is it nice that the actor is doing his part to help a pup in need, but he is also helping us stay entertained with his posts. His hide and seek game with Bill was ridiculously cute and then his adoption post for Steve was what some might call eye candy, but with the added dose of humor to make it even more appealing.

Steve is lucky to have found a foster dad who seems to genuinely enjoy spending time with him and wants him to find an awesome home. And Bill is, well a stuffed animal.

I am loving these posts and can’t wait to see more of Eoin, Bill, and Steve’s adventures on Instagram. (And apparently the actor is trying to recruit a seagull now too, so that’s interesting.)
