Skyler Samuels new puppy is adorable.
Actress Skyler Samuels new puppy was introduced to the world via an Instagram post earlier this week, and we think he’s pretty great.
He doesn’t currently seem to have a name, or at least that name hasn’t been revealed just yet.
“There’s been a notable void in our family since our sweet family dog of more than 15 years passed away last December,” she began the caption, before going on to say that she and her mom tried fostering this little guy and fell in love with him.
“This is a foster WIN. Welcome to the family little man.”
Their former doggo was a little fluffy guy named Matey, who often showed up in Instagram posts.
Samuels was a key part of the cast of Fox’s short-lived superhero series The Gifted, based on Marvel’s X-Men.
Samuels played the telepathic Frost sisters Esme, Sophie and Phoebe (known in the comics as the Stepford Cuckoos), who ranged from antiheroic to outright villainous.
She is also known for her recurring role on the Disney Channel TV series Wizards of Waverly Place, the 2015 movie The DUFF and the Emma Roberts-led Scream Queens.
Almost all the lead cast members of The Gifted are dog people, including Amy Acker (who got her start on Wishbone), Jamie Chung, Emma Dumont and Stephen Moyer.
But Samuels isn’t the only actress to join the dog adoption train here recently – Lili Reinhart of The CW’s Riverdale did as well, becoming a dog mom to a miniature Schnauzer mix named Milo.
