The Keystone Light mascot contest would be a perfect chance for your dog to shoot to superstardom.

The Keystone Light mascot contest is happening now, and it could be the chance for your dog to shoot to superstardom.

The mascot will be known as Lil Breezy Keezy, and the contest will run until Friday, April 10.

It’s designed as part of the promotion for Keylightful, a new raspberry lime beer from the brand, which has a 4.1 percent ABV, 125 calories and 11 carbs per 12 ounce purple and lime green can.

While no specific breed is mentioned, being a French Bulldog could help, as the initial drawing of the dog, who is looking pretty relaxed and cool in a Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses, is a Frenchie.

While it likely won’t make Lil Breezy Keezy into the next Spuds Mackenzie (a Bud Light mascot from the late 1980s), there’s at least a precedent for a mascot contest like this.

According to Thrillist, the winning dog will earn $10,000 and a year’s supply of Keylightful,

To enter, post a picture of your dog on Instagram, tagging Keystone Light (@KeystoneLightOfficial is the handle), along with a 100-words-or-less caption explaining why he or she should become the first Lil Breezy Keezy. The hashtags #SearchForLilKeezy and #Contest must also be used.

Alternatively, people could also apply their dog for consideration by sending an email to LIlBreezyKeezy@keylightful.com.

Keystone is a brand owned by Coors, and it was introduced in 1989. For some time they sponsored the Pole Award in the NASCAR Truck Series, which is next in action in the Vet Tix Camping World 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway (which recently added a dog park) on Saturday, March 14 at 1:30 p.m. ET (TV coverage on Fox Sports 1).
