Reese Witherspoon’s Bulldog celebrated his first Christmas with the family
It was the first Christmas for Reese Witherspoon’s Bulldog puppy, Lou. Which meant celebrating the holiday in style for the whole family.
Christmas in 2019 was all about the dogs, at least if you live with Reese Witherspoon. As a well-known dog lover and dog mom, it makes sense that the holiday would go to the dogs. And considering this is her Bulldog puppy’s first Christmas, it makes sense that they would want to celebrate.
According to People Magazine, Witherspoon actually shared an adorable picture of Lou the Bulldog wearing a very festive sweater (sweater’s seem to be all the rage this season). Lou is seen sitting in the actress’ lap as she looks down at him lovingly.
To caption the picture, the Instagram story simply says, “Lou’s 1st Christmas.” And this makes sense since the puppy was only added to the family (which already includes two other pups) back in June of this year.
Another photo of the Christmas celebration at Reese Witherspoon‘s home showed off her pup, Pepper (a French Bulldog), wearing a rather festive red bow. And while Pepper may not have been wearing a sweater on Christmas, she had already shown off her holiday spirit in a previous Instagram post where she was also seen wearing a red sweater.
Considering we recently saw the actress doing a Q&A on Instagram that featured her talking about Christmas, while also telling Lou all about the holiday, it makes sense that she would make sure to celebrate the Bulldog’s first Christmas with the family.
The holidays are a special time for Witherspoon and her family and she has apparently said in the past that they have their Christmas traditions and love making new memories together. And it looks like this includes making sure the pups are feeling just as festive as the humans. Of course, we love this and definitely approve of including the pups in the celebration.
