Canine schools are well represented in the 2019 NCAA Volleyball Tournament.
Here at Dog O’Day we track how the canine schools (defined as either those schools with canine mascots or vet med programs) do each week during the college football season, and occasionally other sports as well. Many canine schools made the 2019 NCAA Volleyball Tournament, so of course we’re going to track that as well.
Because volleyball is awesome, of course. And dogs can play it (see for Air Bud Spikes Back for proof). Now, dogs probably shouldn’t play indoor volleyball, since it moves so much faster and the ball is much harder, but in a casual sand volleyball match, that should be fine.
Like the NCAA Basketball Tournaments, 64 teams begin the single-elimination tournament until only two remain in the championship match.
