The ECHL’s Indy Fuel are holding their 2019-20 edition of Pucks N Paws Night on Saturday.

The ECHL’s Indy Fuel are holding their 2019-20 edition of Pucks N Paws Night on Saturday, November 9, for all the good minor league hockey dogs.

The Double-A level Fuel will be facing their Western Conference Central Division rivals the Cincinnati Cyclones at Indiana Farmers Coliseum at 6:05 p.m. The arena doors will open at 5 p.m.

The Fuel stole the idea for Pucks N Paws Night from Cincinnati, which is a great idea, as more teams ought to do such promotions.

This is at least the third season Indy has held their version, and it comes just days after the first of the Cyclones’ two Pups N Pucks Nights this season, a 5-4 victory over the Fort Wayne Komets.

Human tickets are $25 and include a dog ticket as well, and they can be purchased by calling 317-925-FUEL or on the team’s website. Additional human tickets are $20 each.

There will be Weiner Dog Races run during one of the intermissions, so Dachshund owners interested in entering should email Jeff Neidlinger at JNeidlinger@IndyFuelHockey.com.

There is a limit of one dog per human, and all dogs need to be on a leash less than six feet long and have their rabies vaccination. There is also a waiver that needs signing at the gate.

Please be courteous and clean up after your dog if it becomes necessary – that’s part of being a good fan.

The first one thousand fans at the designated pet entrance will receive a free doggy bag holder courtesy of IBEW Local #481, the local chapter of the union of electrical workers.
