The ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones are hosting the first of their Pups N Pucks Nights for hockey dogs on Wednesday, November 6.

Minor league hockey’s Cincinnati Cyclones are ready for things to get ruff on the ice with the first Pups N Pucks Night of the 2019-20 season on Wednesday, November 6.

The Double-A level Cyclones, who play in the ECHL, will take on the Fort Wayne Komets at 7:30 p.m. ET at the newly-renamed Heritage Bank Center. Doors open an hour before the puck drops.

The Pups N Pucks ticket package is $15 for a human ticket and $5 for a dog ticket, with an optional add-on to take your hockey dog onto the ice after the game for an additional $5.

This is at least the fourth season that the Cyclones have run this promotion, as their division rivals the Indy Fuel swiped the idea (cause it’s a great one!) and are in the third season of their own version.

It is also a $1 Beer Night, so Miller High Lifes and Pabst Blue Ribbons are only a dollar each.

According to Sean Lynn, Cyclones director of marketing and public relations, there will actually be two Pups N Pucks Nights this season, with the second taking place on Saturday, March 7, 2020 against the Toledo Walleye. This will feature Weiner Dog Races, which sounds fun – who doesn’t love Doxies?

Human participants must fill out the following Pups N Pucks waiver before arriving at the arena.

Owners must be over 18, and dogs need to be up to date on their vaccinations.

Cincinnati is currently in fourth place in the Western Conference’s Central Division, with nine points through seven games played, and a record of four wins, two losses and one overtime loss.

To buy tickets, call 513-421-7825. The Heritage Bank Center is located at 100 Broadway Street in downtown Cincinnati.

The Cincinnati Cyclones are the Double-A affiliate of the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres and the Triple-A level Rochester Americans of the AHL (American Hockey League).
