Funko has released a ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ cereal featuring Zero

Our favorite ghostly dog Zero has finally been honored in the best way possible – as part of a Funko Nightmare Before Christmas cereal.

Are you a fan of Nightmare Before Christmas? Are you obsessed with Jack Skellington’s loyal sidekick, Zero? If the answer to either of these questions is yes, then you are going to love the fact that Funko has decided to honor Zero with his very own cereal.

We sometimes forget that technically Zero is a dog. When we compile our lists of favorite animated pooches, it is rare for Zero to make the list. (I’m guilty of this as well.)

But thanks to Funko, we are being reminded that the ghostly pup with his glowing pumpkin nose really is a very good boy. We have always thought that Zero was too cute for words and was perhaps the very best of all the characters in Nightmare Before Christmas. And now we are being reminded of our love for Jack’s constant companion in the form of a cereal.

As Delish reports, on BoxLunch.com fans of Nightmare Before Christmas can snag themselves a box of Zero cereal from Funko that actually contains a glow in the dark Pop of the ghostly pup. And while we know the box itself could be considered a collectible, we can’t help but want to rip that box open to get our hands on that Zero figurine, as he is just as cute immortalized as a Funko Pop! as he was in the movie.

If you hate the idea of opening a box like this because of its collectibility, then you may want to grab a second box so you can get your hands on the mini Zero. Of course, this could be the perfect solution anyway. Not only does it allow you a chance to indulge in this sweet cereal treat, but you get to play with your glow in the dark pup while you’re doing it.

At $10.90 per box, this Zero cereal from Funko is definitely something I would grab as soon as possible, especially if you are hoping to dress up as Jack Skellington for Halloween, as this gives you a chance to bring your trusty companion with you. Honestly, if you love this movie then you must have this cereal in your life. And if you adore Zero like we do, then this is one cereal you can’t miss.
