Week 4 saw the beginning of conference play in the 2019 college football season for many teams.

As always, the dogs of Instagram were out in full force across living rooms and backyards across America, wearing their Saturday best of hats, T-shirts and bandannas in school colors.

Also as always, Dog O’Day looks at how the canine schools of the NCAA Division I (and rotating handful of colleges with vet schools) fared.

The No. 17 Texas A&M Aggies hosted the No. 8 Auburn Tigers in an SEC West showdown on CBS.

Despite some of Reveille the Collie’s best zooms, the Tigers took this one 28-20.

No. 22 Washington traveled to play the independent BYU, and the Huskies crushed the Cougars 45-19. Dubs didn’t get to go on the road trip, but he was pretty proud of that performance anyway.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs welcomed the Kentucky Wildcats to Starkville, and the Bulldogs won 28-13 to improve to 3-1 on the year.

The New Mexico Lobos and the New Mexico State Aggies fought for control of the Land of Enchantment, and it was a high-scoring affair – New Mexico fans could howl with excitement after the 55-52 final score.

In a battle of historic Big Ten programs with vet schools, Nebraska won a barn-burner over Illinois as the final score was Cornhuskers 42, Fighting Illini 38.

The Arkansas State Red Wolves hosted the Salukis of Southern Illinois in a nonconference battle, and Arkansas State came out on ahead 41-28 in that one.

North Carolina State’s Wolfpack hosted and vanquished the Ball State Cardinals, 34-23.

In a primetime clash on CBS, the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs welcomed the No. 7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish to Athens.

Uga got extra pets before the game from The Bulldog.

Nevada’s Wolf Pack traveled to El Paso for a tussle with UTEP, surviving 37-21.

The Fresno State Bulldogs hosted the Sacramento State Hornets, getting their first win of the year after the 34-20 contest.
