Halloween comes early as one French Bulldog decides to channel Chucky with his costume
Halloween is coming a little earlier this season for one French Bulldog, at least if his Chucky costume is anything to go by.
Are you obsessed with Halloween? Do you hunt down the perfect costume for your dog and yourself? If the answer to either of these questions is yes, then you are not alone. And for one French Bulldog in Scotland, it seems his costume inspiration is none other than Chucky from the movie Child’s Play.
Thanks to PopSugar, we now have the perfect pup to inspire our Halloween love this season. Reggie, who lives in Scotland, apparently decided to channel his inner Chucky a bit early this year. And that might just make him our Fall hero.
In a picture posted to Instagram, Reggie the French Bulldog can be seen rocking a pair of overalls with the words Good Dogs (instead of Good Guys) on it, a red and white striped shirt, as well as a wig of orange hair. But that’s not the only thing that screams Chucky about this costume, as there are actual arms in that shirt, and in one hand Reggie is clearly carrying a bloody knife.
For the post, Reggie is posed in front of a bloody caution sign that says, “Warning Get Back.” I mean how much scarier can this pup get?
Now, while the pup is clearly channeling an iconic horror movie villain, we couldn’t help but giggle at the caption for the post as it is clearly a play on the Ava Max song, “Sweet but Psycho,” with knife emojis and the words, “Ohhh he’s sweet… but a psycho.” And the hashtag of “come at me bro” certainly helped make this costumed post perfect.
Although Reggie is clearly getting his Chucky on with this costume, we can’t help but find him totally adorable. After all, just because he is wearing the costume, that doesn’t mean he is not still a total sweetheart.
And with a costume like this, you can’t help but be inspired to go hunting for the perfect Halloween look for your pupper. After all, if Reggie can do it, so can your pup. Besides, maybe your dog wants to be the bad guy for once.
