Rob Lowe introduces the two new pups joining his family to Instagram
On Instagram, Rob Lowe shared a video featuring two new pups that he and his family have adopted, following the recent loss of one of their pups.
On Sept. 3, Rob Lowe took to Instagram to share a video of two new pups that he and his family are apparently adopting. In the video, the pups can be seen exploring their new outdoor living space and even meeting another member of the furry family.
Considering the actor and his family recently lost one of their pups, it is not a surprise to learn that he has found new puppies to bring home. And with how adorable the pups are, it would be impossible to resist their cuteness when it comes to adopting the dynamic duo.
In August, the Lowe family said goodbye to their pup, David Doodle, and shared a tribute to the dog on Instagram. On Rob Lowe’s account, the actor shared a picture of his son Matthew holding the pooch at Christmas time. In the caption for the post, Lowe said that the pup, “had a long life, full of swimming, surfing (he had his own board) and chasing rabbits in the yard. He was a hard worker and would mutter/growl which sometimes sounded like he was talking.”
While one can never replace a beloved pet, that does not mean there is not room in our hearts for new dogs. And it seems that in this case, the Lowe family could not resist bringing home two furry friends. (Look at these pups and tell us you could resist them? I think not!)
In the caption for the video, Rob Lowe shared that he is, “So excited to welcome these two Artemis GSP pups to the family because we have all been missing our Jack Jagoo!” And while the pups apparently do not have names just yet, the actor did offer up a suggestion from one of his first movies, The Outsiders.
For the two new pups in the family, Lowe seems to be thinking of using the names Soda and Pony. And while fans might think that idea is brilliant, his son Johnny did not seem as impressed with the idea.
Whatever the pups end up being named, they will definitely have a great life as members of the Lowe family. Just from following the different members of the family on Instagram, it is clear to see how much they love their pups. And of course we love good adoption stories.
We can’t wait to see these pups popping up on Rob Lowe’s Instagram account more often now. Any time we can enjoy cuteness like this, we are all for it.
