Keith Urban reveals the name of his and Nicole Kidman’s new puppy

On July 10, Nicole Kidman introduced the world to her first ever puppy. And now thanks to Keith Urban, we know the pup’s name.

When it comes to celebrities introducing us to their pets, we love finding out what it is they have named the newest addition to their family. And while Nicole Kidman did not reveal her new pup’s name when she introduced him to the world via Instagram, it seems her husband, Keith Urban, had no problem revealing the name to fans.

According to iHeartRadio, while Urban was backstage at the Faster Horses Festival, he had no problem gushing about his wife and their new puppy. He shared his shock over the fact that the toy poodle they adopted was Kidman’s first ever dog, while saying “I’ve had dogs all my life, but never anything this small.”

Instead of small dogs, Keith Urban said that he has had larger dogs that he can have fun and roughhouse with in the yard. Basically their new addition is a first for the country singer too.

However, the big thing fans were curious about was what the toy poodle’s name is, and now we know – Julian. It turns out that the puppy might be small, but he has a mighty name and if Urban’s thoughts on the pup are anything to go by, he is a great addition to the family. In fact, he made it clear that Julian is “a big hit.”

We love the name Julian for the toy poodle and can’t wait to see if either Urban or Kidman post more pictures of the pup soon. Considering it has not been that long since the actress brought the puppy home, it does make sense that they are taking their time before sharing him with the world. After all, he really is another member of the family.
