Nicole Kidman has finally adopted her first dog and her new fur baby is adorable

Nicole Kidman is finally a dog mom according to a post on her Instagram account, and the picture (and pup) is too cute for words.

When it comes to celebrity dog (or really pet) news, social media is the place to be. And on Instagram, we not only get great pictures, but also plenty of stories and insight into our favorite celebrities, including Nicole Kidman.

In fact, it is thanks to a post on Instagram that the world now knows that Kidman is a dog mom for the very first time. On July 10, the actress shared an adorable picture of herself cuddling up to a cute puppy who appears to be a poodle (although it is possible that the pup is a labradoodle or some other poodle mix).

It is clear from the picture that Nicole Kidman is already in love with the pup in question and it seems like the caption for the post just confirms that. In the caption, the actress simply says, “My first puppy… actually my first dog. Been waiting my whole life for this!” She then followed that up with a single dog emoji.

As People Magazine pointed out, Kidman did not reveal the name of her new puppy in the post. And while there was not much additional information forthcoming from the actress, there were plenty of comments on the post, including some from other celebrities, such as Isla Fisher who simply wrote, “So cute!”

We totally agree with Fisher, as this picture and special moment really is super cute. From the look on Nicole Kidman’s face to the way the pup is sniffing at the actress, this picture gives us all the feels.

Hopefully Kidman shares more picture of her new fur baby with us on Instagram, as we are all looking forward to seeing how the new addition to the family is doing. And of course, we can never resist adorable pictures of pups, no matter who their owner is.
