Secret Life of Pets 2 cast helps rate your pet with WeRateDogs
The Secret Life of Pets 2 cast knows what they are talking about when it comes to all things pet related, which is why we are here for their WeRateDogs rating spotlight.
When it comes to social media accounts dedicated to all things dogs, WeRateDogs might be one of the most popular (both on Twitter and Instagram). And as part of their promotional work for Secret Life of Pets 2, the voice cast of the movie joined forces with WeRateDogs for a special pet rating segment.
In the video, we get to watch as Patton Oswalt, Kevin Hart, Eric Stonestreet, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, and Bobby Moynihan offer up their personal ratings for a number of pets, from dogs to cats and even a hedgehog.
Honestly, you have never seen anything more fun than this group of funny people coming together to rate pets for WeRateDogs. From Bunsen pulling double duty as both a superhero and a scientist, and garnering a 12 out of 10, to the hedgehog who was mistaken as a dog also pulling a 12 from Hart, this entire video is truly delightful.
And while it is clear that none of these stars have ever sat down to rate a pet before this, they definitely did a good job. In fact, even the WeRateDogs account gives them credit for a job well done, although the one cat getting a 15 out 10 did raise some questions.
In between ratings, followers got to see clips from Secret Life of Pets 2 that clearly fit in the moment, especially when it came to the cat who dropped their owners hair ties in the toilet. And as a reminder, Kevin Hart wants everyone to know he does not trust cats (and here was picture evidence of why).
As Patton Oswalt said at the end of the video, their ratings “broke a lot of doggy hearts, and uplifted a lot of kitty souls.” Of course, while rating pets may not be their main gig, voicing our favorite characters in Secret Life of Pets 2 is, which is why they encourage everyone to check out the new movie which premieres in theaters on June 7.
What did you think of the cast’s ratings? Would you change any of these ratings? Tell us what you think in the comments below. And remember to check out Secret Life of Pets 2 in theaters starting June 7.
