Charlie Hunnam playing with puppies is the video we never knew we needed

Charlie Hunnam may best be known for his role in Sons of Anarchy, but the English actor is also an animal lover with a penchant for cats. But it’s the video of him with puppies we can’t get enough of.

We love seeing celebrities interacting with animals on camera. Candid videos and pictures of stars with kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs tend to make us all happy. In fact, I would say it is hard not to smile when you see someone like Charlie Hunnam or Brie Larson playing with puppies.

And thanks to People Magazine and Entertainment Weekly our National Pet Day feels complete. In a video posted by EW on their Instagram account, we get to see Hunnam playing with two adorable puppies.

We never hear the actor speak in the video, in fact, all we get is background music, but that doesn’t matter. The clear joy we get from watching this clip is enough for us.

Clearly the actor was doing a photo shoot of some sort, likely for People Magazine, considering their logo is on the video, but the way he is smiling and enjoying the company of the pups makes it so much more than just your typical shoot. This was something fun and adorable. And it is always nice to see actors letting loose and just relaxing, and since we believe the puppies had a lot to do with that, they are definitely our heroes.

Considering Charlie Hunnam has a soft spot for cats and kittens according to a 2017 piece from PETA, it is not surprising that puppies would also make the actor smile. In the piece about his love of kittens and cats, Hunnam revealed that he not only saved a kitten from a roof in the rain, but he then ran two miles to get it help from the vet. But that was not where the story ends, as the actor then adopted the kitten he rescued. It turns out that his fur baby is the best smell in the world to him, and we can’t help but love that.

Even though we are a site dedicated to all things dogs, that doesn’t mean we don’t have a soft spot for all animals. And knowing that Charlie Hunnam is a cat person who has no problem cuddling puppies for a photo shoot just makes us love him even more.
