Starbucks has gone to the dogs. Or at least that is what they want us all to think as part of their take on April Fools’ Day.

We already know that Starbucks is willing to cater to our pups a bit, thanks to their Puppuccinos. But on April Fools’ Day, the company went straight to the dogs with their latest idea. In a video that the company shared on Twitter, Starbucks unveiled their idea for the Pupbucks.

This new concept store is all about our favorite four-legged friends. In the video, they say that they are “proud to introduce a new breed of stores.” And according to the spokesperson in the video, Pupbucks is a store exclusively for our dogs.

Considering how much fun the puppies in the video are having with their stuffed pup latte toys and even their toy bagels, we can’t imagine Pupbucks not being a success. And in the Twitter comments for this unique Starbucks concept, both the company and fans had some fun with the joke.

When We Rate Dogs chimed in to tell the coffee shop not to play with their emotions, the company tweeted back to let them know they needed their help “develpuping the menu.” Starbucks asked what could pair with a “Pupkin Spice Latte.” Other people volunteered to be barkistas, and when one dog showed off that they were ready for work, the company made it clear that there is no saying no to cute faces.

With all the dog puns happening in the comments section of the tweet, we think maybe Starbucks should follow through with their Pupbucks concept. It could end up being a highly successful venture for the company, even with all the pups having fun and being adorable together.

Considering how many people seem to be genuinely disappointed by the fact that Pupbucks is not actually going to be a new thing, Starbucks could have a legitimate idea on their hands all thanks to their decision to let the company go to the dogs for April Fools’ Day.

Even if Pupbucks never actually happens, at least we can still take our dogs with us to Starbucks in order to snag a Puppuccino. And if the store has an outdoor seating area, your pup can always join you on nice days for a little coffee and sunshine.
