Dogs represented in NCAA Division II basketball tournaments
Dogs are well represented on the basketball court during both the men’s and women’s 2019 Division II NCAA Tournament.
With 320 schools in total in Division II, there are a significant amount of canine schools playing basketball, and a good amount of them made it to the 2019 Division II NCAA Tournament, mostly on the women’s side.

On March 16 the St Cloud State Huskies of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference will host the Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm from the Great American Conference on March 16 at 8:30 p.m..
Their NSIC siblings the Northern State Wolves welcome the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm from the GAC to Aberdeen, South Dakota on March 16 at 2:30 p.m.
On the women’s side of the bracket, the Bowie State Bulldogs will go to Indiana, Pennsylvania, on March 15 at 11 a.m. to face the Crimson Hawks.
In an all-NSIC first-round matchup on March 15 at 7:30 p.m., the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs will host the Minnesota State-Moorhead Dragons.
The GAC’s Southwestern Oklahoma State Bulldogs will face the Hornets of Emporia State from the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association on March 15 at 2:30 p.m..
The Truman State Bulldogs of the Great Lakes Valley Conference will travel to the Grand Valley State Lakers of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference on March 15 at noon.
The Gulf South Conference’s Union Bulldogs welcome the Nova Southeastern Sharks of the Sunshine State Conference to Jackson, Tennessee on March 15 at 1:30 p.m..
Conference Carolinas’ Bulldogs of Barton will travel to South Carolina to take on the Anderson Trojans from the South Atlantic Conference on March 15 at 4 p.m..
The Wingate Bulldogs from the South Atlantic host the Lakers of Clayton State from the Peach Belt Conference on March 15 at 11 a.m..
The Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds travel to face their Lone Star foes in the West Texas A&M Buffaloes on March 15 at 2:30 p.m..
Finally, the Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves will host the Hawaii Pacific Sharks in what has to be one of the longest travel disparities ever on March 15 at 2 p.m.
