Brie Larson did the cutest Captain Marvel interview while playing with puppies

With Captain Marvel officially joining the MCU, Brie Larson is busy promoting her Marvel movie, which means interviews. But none have been quite as amazing as when she got to play with puppies.

Brie Larson is the newest actor to portray a superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And with this role comes a lot of press coverage, interviews that need to be done, and basically a lot of putting herself out there for the world.

While the actress has admitted that she is more of an introvert and she was worried about being the face of a Marvel movie, during one interview, Larson had the chance to relax and have a little fun in what we think is the cutest way ever. Of course, as a site devoted to all things dogs, that also means that this particular interview was right up our alley as well.

That’s right, Brie Larson got the chance to do an interview while playing with puppies and it is everything we could have hoped for and never knew we needed. Although Captain Marvel may have a pet cat that is essentially her furry sidekick in the movie, in an interview with BuzzFeed, it seems that the actress got the chance to answer questions from fans while also playing with four puppies.

As soon as I saw this video my first thought was that this interview tactic was pure genius. Puppies are not only cute and cuddly, but their squirmy and inquisitive nature is the best way to have someone uncomfortable with doing interviews get more comfortable. I mean, who wouldn’t want to play with puppies if given the chance?

And sure, I know we should be finding out all about Larson’s role in Captain Marvel, but our focus is definitely on those wriggly bodies and how the actress is interacting with them and wrangling them in when they try to wander off on her. Of course, I also took the time to pay a little attention to the questions she was answering, and loved the fact that she felt that taking on this character was a “giant win for introverts everywhere.”

As fans of Brie Larson to begin with, it is great listening to her thoughts on not only putting the costume on for the first time, but also what it meant to her taking on the role of Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers. According to Larson, taking on this role meant that she was pushing herself to actually do things that she never thought she could before. And the fact that she was able to go deep with her thoughts, all while petting the puppies in her lap, prove (at least in my mind) that she really is superhero material. I know I would have been distracted by all that cuteness.

At one point Larson even acknowledges that she is loving every moment with these puppies as they make her feel seen and noticed. And even when one of the puppies chews on her shoe (which she laughs is “very expensive”) it is clear that Brie Larson is down to Earth and a lot of fun. She really does feel like a perfect fit for the MCU, and I can’t wait to see how she continues to bring new life to the Marvel movies.
