BarkBox teamed up with T-Pain for an exciting new contest
T-Pain may have won The Masked Singer, but that doesn’t mean he is done surprising us all. Now he is teaming up with BarkBox for an exciting new contest.
If you are a fan of T-Pain, then you may know he has a new album out called 1UP. On the album is a song called, “It’s My Dog Birthday,” and in honor of this new track, the singer has teamed up with BarkBox for an exciting contest. That’s right, we have a new collaboration in the works and it is glorious for those of us who love dogs and music.
On Instagram, BarkBox posted to their story to announce the contest collaboration, sharing videos and pictures to let their followers know how the contest works, and what you need to know. In a post on their timeline, they also shared a picture of T-Pain with a pup and let the world know that there is a special “It’s My Dog Birthday Contest” under way, which requires you to show how your pup “gets down.”
As part of the contest, you submit a video of your dog busting a move with “It’s My Dog Birthday” playing in the background. You can submit it via Instagram or Twitter, but you must use “#dogBARKdaycontest.” At the same time, you have to tag both T-Pain and BarkBox in your post, in order to be entered. (All of this makes perfect sense and seems rather east to do.)
The winning dog will then be featured in the actual music video for “It’s My Dog Birthday.” Which is definitely exciting for fans of T-Pain and of course those of us who want to be able to brag about our famous pup.
If you want to know more about the contest, there is a webpage dedicated to this very exciting collaboration, which lays out the details and gives you all of the rules and restrictions. The contest starts on March 5 and ends on the 12th, which means you don’t have long to get in on the fun.
The winner will be decided on March 15, with T-Pain himself letting the lucky dog and their owner know that they are going to be featured in the music video.
Maybe it’s just us but we think this is exciting news. Any time we can show off our dogs to the world we are there. And of course, having the chance to be in a music video has to be one of the ultimate opportunities to show off how awesome our pups are.
