Your pet could star in a commercial as the new Cadbury Bunny.

Cadbury Creme Eggs are a delicious part of Easter, and Cadbury is hosting a new contest to become the new Cadbury Bunny to celebrate.

The new Cadbury Bunny does not have to be a rabbit; any pet could play their best Easter Bunny to win.

The contest is essentially a reboot of a commercial from 1994 where a variety of other animals, including a cat, lion, llama and turtle, all auditioned to become the new spokesanimal.

The original Cadbury Bunny, who debuted around 1981, wasn’t completely rabbit-ish in the first place, as it made chicken noises.

Cadbury tapped social-media personality Doug the Pug to help them promote the Cadbury Bunny Tryouts.

To enter, contestants fill out the entry form at BunnyTryouts.CadburyUSA.com and upload a photo of their pet wearing bunny ears, writing in 50 words or less (about two to three sentences) why their pet ought to be the new Cadbury Bunny.

Photos need to be under 8 MB in size and can be in any of the following formats: JPG, JPEG, GIF or PNG. The bunny ears can be real (like a headband) or Photoshopped. Photos shouldn’t break copyright of others’ art or contain non-sponsoring brand logos.

There’s more restrictions for what to avoid in the photos, but they’re mostly common sense and can be read in the official rules. The contest only seems to be open for Americans 18 or older, and Hershey employees are not eligible, as Hershey is the parent company of Cadbury in the US.

This initial phase of the contest began on Wednesday, February 13 and runs until Wednesday, March 6.

Of the photos submitted, a judging panel will select 20 semifinalists, and these semifinalists will send in a video of their pet as the next phase, which runs from Thursday, March 7 to Sunday, March 10.

For the videos, they must be under a minute long and the bunny ears worn must be a physical headband, and it would greatly help if the pet was somewhat stationary, as it would essentially be a practice run for the real commercial should they win.

The winner will be selected on Monday, March 11.
