In addition to the 2018 NAFA Regional Champions, most of the regions selected a dog as Most Valuable Player as well, which were announced during the January meeting. As we like to think of it here at Dog O’Day, MVP stands for Most Valuable Pooch.

Regions 1, 15, 17, 22 and 23 did not have MVPs, while Region 19 saw co-MVPs awarded for Axl and Boogie.

Region 2’s MVP was Ruin.

MVP for Region 3 was Recon.

Region 4 saw Tyler take top dog honors.

In Region 5 it was Cayenne taking home MVP.

Dude won MVP in Region 6

Region 7 had Tina as the top dog.

Region 8’s MVP winner was Rudy.

Weezy won MVP for Region 9.

The appropriately Canadian-named Zedd took alpha dog honors in Region 10.

Shelby won MVP for Region 11.

Razza won MVP in Region 12.

Mattingly lived to his namesake, Yankees legend Don Mattingly, by claiming MVP for Region 13.

Gabrielle won the prize in Region 14.

In Region 16 Olive took home MVP.

Deja won MVP in Region 18.

Region 20 MVP was given to Rouky.
