A second teaser for the Avocados from Mexico Super Bowl 53 commercial has been released.

A second teaser for the Avocados from Mexico Super Bowl LIII (Super Bowl 53) ad has been released.

It also stars Broadway actress Kristin Chenoweth, best known for her roles as Sally Brown in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Glinda the Good Witch in Wicked.

Chenoweth also is known for her main roles on TV series Pushing Daisies and GCB, along with recurring roles on The West Wing and Glee.

In this teaser, she gives the dogs in her choir a lesson on art history, and the lengths humans will go to in order to get their guacamole fix.

The actual Avocados from Mexico ad will take air during the second quarter of Super Bowl LIII, contested between the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots in Atlanta on Sunday, February 3 at 6:30 p.m. ET.  They have been advertising during the annual spectacle for roughly the past decade or so, becoming a familiar brand to American consumers.

According to People Magazine, Chenoweth says that her dad thinks that this ad might be the pinnacle of her career.

“He said, ‘Okay, you might have a Tony and Emmy and all those but, you’ve made it now, you’ve got to say yes.’” Chenoweth told People.

In the first teaser for the actual commercial, released Monday, Chenoweth plays a choir director teaching her trio of canines to sing the Avacados from Mexico jingle.

While avocados are very healthy for people, they are very toxic to dogs, causing, at best, diarrhea and vomiting (according to Dr. Judy Morgan’s Yin and Yang Nutrition for Dogs) and at worst ending in heart failure and death, according to the American Kennel Club.
