It appears that Titans’ second season will feature Krypto the Superdog.

The second season of Titans will feature Krypto the Superdog, based on a cameo in the after-credits stinger scene in the season one finale “Dick Grayson” (1.11).

The gritty, exceptionally violent drama airs on the DC Universe streaming platform, and follows lesser-known DC Comics characters like Robin, Starfire, Raven and Beast Boy. The most recognizable member of the cast is Minka Kelly of Friday Night Lights in a recurring role.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites (The Giver), Anna Diop (24: Legacy), Teagan Croft (Home and Away) and Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6) in main roles.

Krypto the Superdog first appeared in the comic Superboy No. 210, which was essentially a precursor to the 2001-11 WB/CW TV series Smallville. His exact breed isn’t really known, but he often is drawn like a white Labrador

Krypto has previously been onscreen in live action in the Smallville season four episode “Krypto,” though he was called Shelby. He starred in a short-lived Cartoon Network animated series called Krypto the Superdog in 2005.

Krypto will also appear in an upcoming Super Pets animated movie from Warner Bros., along with Ace the Bat-Hound and others.
