Christmas 2018 was a time of cheer for the dogs of Twitter.

Christmas is a time for getting together and spending time with our family and friends, and that includes our dogs.

Luckily for us, the dogs of Twitter were out in full force to make the holidays a little brighter (and more slobbery).

WeRateDogs went all-out, of course, which was to be expected – they celebrated a different dog each hour of Christmas Day.

Matt Nelson’s new Golden Retriever Sizzle enjoyed her first Christmas at her new home.

Arrow the Malamute (basically a larger Husky) was a very good dog this year. He got to go snowboarding with his owners, NHRA drag racer Courtney Force and IndyCar driver Graham Rahal.

Chris Evans’ dog Dodger had an adorable dilemma: does he sleep with his new lion toy, or his faithful old lion? he had an innovative solution:

Ranger the yellow Lab is part of the NHL’s New York Rangers this season, and he’s getting into the holiday spirit too.  But he hasn’t forgotten about his very important job as a service dog in training, either:

Movie reviewer Jake Roberson got into an argument with his wife – is wrapping the dog treats a waste of wrapping paper, time and/or money? Yes, he’s right. But his parents saw that earlier tweet and decided a good Christmas prank was in order:

Ranger’s friend Rookie – batdog of the Trenton Thunder Triple-A baseball team – and internet-famous dog Doug the Pug both dressed up as Santa Paws.

Vegas Golden Knights superfan Bark-Andre Furry wished everyone a great day, because smiling’s his favorite (except for Knights wins, of course).

Whatever your plans are for the rest of the day, have a merry Christmas and happy rest of the holidays from the Dog O’Day staff. We hope it’s a restful and pleasant time filled with great food and good memories.
